Refugee Employment Program (REP) Provider staff must assign participants to a REP activity within 30 days of cash-aid approval.  However, former Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) recipients who are within 60 months from date-of-entry, requesting to receive and who are eligible for REP, must only be registered for services when they reach out to the REP Agency.

The California Department of Social Services/Refugee Program Bureau and the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) audit findings for REP mandate that RCA participant must be registered for a REP Appraisal activity within the initial 30-day period proceeding cash-aid approval.
