What changed?

The PA 6128, Museums and Gardens – Free Fun for Families Brochure, was revised to reflect updated information for each of the participating entities.

Admission to the museums and gardens will allow low-income families the opportunity to experience, at no cost, family-focused events that will expand their knowledge of art, culture, and history. Children under 18 years of age and their accompanying adult(s) who show their Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card and photo identification will be admitted free of charge to the participating museums and gardens during designated “EBT designated days.”

The brochure is the result of a Board Motion directing DPSS and the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture to collaborate in soliciting museums throughout the County to waive admission fees for CalWORKs and CalFresh families with children.
