A participant is referred to Vocational Re-Assessment when they completed the activities specified in the Employment Plan and the participant remains unemployed.
A Vocational Assessor must review the Welfare-to-Work (WtW) Plan and determine if any revisions are necessary to reach the goal of unsubsidized employment:

Vocational Re-Assessment
An Assessment conducted by a professional Assessor when a participant remains unemployed after they complete their WtW Employment Plan, or when special circumstances that were not identified during the original Assessment process prevent the participant from completing the Employment Plan.
Referral to a Vocational Re-Assessment is appropriate under the following conditions:

GN 6006, Service Provider Referral, this document is given to the participant to provide to the Assessor.
Assessment Forms
GN 6013, GAIN Vocational/Career Assessment Disposition, is used to identify the type of Assessment performed by the Assessor.
GN 6014, GAIN Vocational Assessment Summary and Employment Plan, are used to document the result of the Re-Assessment.
GN 6130, Assessment Activity Agreement, informs the participant of the location and appointment date of the Assessment. The form is signed by the participant and GAIN Services Worker (GSW)/Contracted Case Manager (CCM).
GN 6386, Welfare-to-Work Assignment Plan Acknowledgment form, is used when the participant chooses an employment goal that will be completed beyond the CalWORKs 60-Month time limit.
